Would you recommend Skip?100% yes, we have nothing but praise for both the wedding disco, and how Skip dealt with us up to the wedding, a very easy going, easy to talk to gentleman. We felt he was the right choice from the moment we began chatting and especially after our first meeting. I (William) knew of him from Carrick, total legend! Now Jamila knows what I was talking about! Brilliant!

Did Skip interact with the crowd:Yes he was able to get everyone up dancing even those who dont normally!! The train around the room was hilarious - i dont think reception knew what hit them when we appeared.

Many of our guests have been to more than ten weddings over the last two years and they are still saying how good the disco was, the dance floor was packed all night - even my minister was up dancing - the older ones loved the walses and jives - the best bit was when sean took my garter off with his teeth and Skip played the strip tease music! Everyone thought it was hilarious!

Would you recommend Skip?I would recommend Skip to everyone. Sean and I have been to many wedding as had most of our guests and everyone is still saying that it was the best wedding they have been to in years!
Did Skip take Pictures?To be honest we compltely forgot that skip was taking pics the whole time and when we got the disc in the post it was a very good surprise. Everyone was having a ball and there were some seriously funny dance moves!
Was the sound to loud?No it was not to loud. We had a mixture of ages at our wedding from 1 year to 81 and everyone was on the dance floor a some point. My 79 year old great aunt was doing the love boat!! lol

All of our guests commented on what fun they had with many quoting it as "the best wedding ever" Skip was fantastic and 100% commited to making our wedding day perfect and a real factor in making it the best day of mine and James' life.

We had not planned for karaoke but at my request Skip happily obliged, resulting in a 5 song Lily Allen set by myself which wll always be memorable and some great sing alongs to Spice Girls, Girls Aloud, Queen and even a bit of N-Dubz! Skip did everything to grant our wishes on the day and we will never forget it!

Where you happy with the service provided?Both of us had been avid Skip fans from many misspent years in the Bot, so we had to book him for our wedding and he didn't let us down. Prior to the wedding, Skip co-ordinated the band and magician who we had booked, then on the night, he took several great pictures both during the band and while he was performing also. This was great to have, especially as a CD of photos awaited us when we returned from honeymoon! Anyone having a wedding cannot go wrong booking Skip, furthermore, he is excellent value for money.
Did Skip interact with the crowd:Yes, very much so. It becomes obvious that entertainment can make or break a wedding evenening reception. At our reception, the majority of the guests were on the dance floor as opposed to at the bar or outside, which created a fantastic atmosphere. This was all thanks to Skip who proves there is a great difference between a DJ and someone who plays pop CDs.
Did Skip play your requests?Skip handed out request slips, however one of Skip's many talents is how he reads the crowd and plays gems that he know's will go down a storm. Skip has a wide range of music available, so it is not just a mix of typical wedding tunes with the odd modern top 40 hit thrown in, but music your guests will appreciate.

Would you recommend Skip?Without a doubt, Skip works very hard before, during and after your wedding or event to ensure you have an excellent night. We were delighted with our evening reception and the photo memories we recieved. We can't imagine there is a better DJ out there! Book him now!

Did Skip interact with the crowd:Skip was very helpful from the moment he arrived and set up ,nothing appeared to phase him nor was anything to much of a bother to him .Skip mingled as necessary and his experienced delivery was there for all too see.
Did Skip play your requests?From the start of the evening the music was exactly what the audience wanted ...kids and adults got all their requests played without any hassle ....5 million songs to choose from !! All tastes catered for !!

Would you recommend Skip?Without a doubt- Skip also did a formal I was involved in previously and on both occasions everyone was full of praise for Skip. Skip = full dancefloor.
Did Skip take Pictures?Yes, & I just got the CD.... HILARIOUS. It is brilliant to have them as this is the stage when people are more 'relaxed' and the bride and groom aren't really able to see all that goes on so it is a great memento.

Skip was really heplful when my bridesmaids spoke to him after one of his gigs at the Bot when we were initially choosing a DJ to follow the band we had. In the run-up to the wedding, Skip was very responsive to emails and offered some great advice about the venue and set-up. The songs Skip played kept the crowd dancing long after we left the party. We were very disappointed to be going!

Did Skip take Pictures, were they any good?They were fantastic. The photographer had left by that stage and the guests were too busy dancing to take pictures. Plus Skip had a great vantage point! We loved getting the pictures as we saw how the guests partied after we left.

Did you have Karaoke? or Ceremony Music?We had asked Skip to provide karaoke although we aren't sure whether the guests actually managed to get that stage, by the look of the photos Skip took they were enjoying dancing too much to sing!

Where you happy with the service provided?We were both very happy with the service! Skip was very professional, helpful and entertaining right through from start to finish, and through all our dealings with him. Our dancefloor was packed all night long and we along with all our guests had an absolute ball! Everyone kept complimenting us and Skip on how good the night was! Our names in lights on the ceiling was a nice touch! Thanks for a brilliant night - we wish we could do it all over again!
Did Skip interact with the crowd:Yes - in a good way without being over the top and cheeky like some DJs like to be!
Did Skip play your requests?Skip managed to get most of our very long list of requests played through the night, and also had request slips for the guests to fill in on the night.
Where was your venue?Ross Park Hotel, Kells
Would you recommend Skip?Most definately yes, and have done! And even at a cousin's engagement party the following week everyone said they wish Skip was playing again!
Did Skip take Pictures, were they any good?Skip took loads of pictures - we can't wait to see them! That was certainly a very nice surprise!
Was the sound to loud?The sound was spot on, and the light show was very good - not the usual blinding lights flashing in your eyes!

Comments:Made our wedding reception with the selection of music.. played all our requests and was a true gentleman the entire nite... had everyone up from start to finish with a wide selection of music he covered everybodys needs.. The lights he provided were also amazing...
Did Skip play your requests?Skip email me a few weeks before my wedding to ask what songs we wished played and he deleivered them all including a moment were he remixed a few backstreet boys within minutes in which the groom had to throw some funky moves around the dancefloor which he still hasnt lived down lol... He was able to provide any song we wished within minutes...

Comments:We booked Skip for the Institute of Professional Legal Studies winter formal. As most of us were Bot-goers in our time, we knew Skip would get everyone on the dancefloor! We emailed a few must plays beforehand but Skip also took care of requests on the night. The good thing about Skip is that he doesn't take it too seriously like some DJ's- he plays what people want to hear. Everyone loved the music on the night & Skip definitely helped make the formal the brilliant night it was.

Comments:We had our christening on the Sunday 02-11-2008. Although we were not going to have a dj at first, thank goodness changed our minds when we did. Skip was our dj and made our day outstanding. The music kept even my granny happy. The kids had lots of fun and all the adults were entertained with all the dancing we done. The music was just right for my family and friends, not to loud & no rave. I would recommend him to anyone else who was thinking of having a similar day.
